Protesting

I believe the most effective way to protest is to be violent. What I mean is to damage property by disabling machines and making a mess. Not injuring other living things or going to far with the destruction. In the movie If a tree falls some protesters turn to arson to get their expression out which eventually went to far and by false info. They became labeled as terrorists and sentenced to prison, with the exception of the leader who decide out of fear to cooperate in order to avoid prison that ironically his father went to in his childhood.

 Only one month left until senior year and then out to the world. I got to stop procrastinating in school work because it really affects my grades dramatically.

There is going to be last projects and final exams coming my way. But I  will NOT giveup, that is my motto for life.

I have kept it up so far.So I must not  give up not now not ever.It is time to actually take my time at animo jackie robinson and use it with caution.

Discrimination is sweeping the nation

In the novel Zeitoun , the main character zeitoun is arrested because of his racial background and have been violated of his basic rights in arrest. Zeituon was not told of his charge, suffer through cruel and unusual punishment, and have not been able to contact his family.

Other examples of discrimination in criminal justice is the trayvon martin case. Trayvon martin was shot late at night by neighborwatcher george zimmerman who suspected trayvon as suspicous due to his hood that he was wearing.

There is also unfairness in juvenile court. black children are treating more harsher that white children simiar to zeitoun only they actually commited crimes.

I can not believe that college enrollment is being frozen due to this economic crisis. This folks I believe is no accident. It is setup by those behind the walls pulling the strings. I now will be suffering in the future with limited education, living with my parents, and most likely unemployed. I do not know what to do really. Go out of the us the get education, be on a waiting list, and joining the military seems like the only options for now. I don't know what will happen but I do know one thing for sure, that there is something wrong with the us school system big time

Kony 2012 Reflection

I believe that Kony should be punished for his war crimes but what about the citizens of uganda? The parents of the child soldiers were victims are they not? Why are they and other survivors still in their same sitution while only Kony gets what he deserves? It is not fair not fair at all.

Zeitoun

I recommend a book called Zeitoun by Dave Eggers to everyone.This book has made me realise the illusion I have been in for so long.You should never judge a book by its cover anywhere anyhow.

What I have read so far is so outstanding that I can not put all my thought in one blog.It is about the main character Zeitoun, his life during and after hurricane katrina.This work is based on a true story of Zeitoun facing katrina and the post 9/11 effects on terroism.

Zeitoun becomes a hero by rescuing his neighbors and friends only to be arrest based on his race with his civil liberties violated.That is just reviews that I have come across while doing research on this true masterpiece.

What I have found out really touched my heart all the way.Zeitoun and his wife came from poor families and become very successful in New Orleans. Zietoun is a painter/contracters who wakes up really early in the morning having to do eight to ten jobs everday all around the neighborhood while at the same time supporting his family.

This book will draw your attention if you give it a try.
